2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe

The 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe has been unveiled in the metal at the Geneva Motor Show, looking identical to the facelifted C-Class sedan, except for two less doors, more steeply-raked A-pillars, a different grille and a lower ride height. The dash architecture is carried over from the sedan unchanged.

The all-new Mercedes coupe will be offered in five variants in Europe upon launch in June: the C 220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY with a 170 hp, 400 Nm 2.1-litre four-cylinder engine; the C 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY with a 204 hp, 500 Nm 2.1-litre four-cylinder engine; the C 220 BlueEFFICIENCY with a 156 hp, 250 Nm 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine; the C 250 BlueEFFICIENCY with a 204 hp, 310 Nm 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine; and the C 350 BlueEFFICIENCY with a 306 hp, 370 Nm 3.5-litre V6 engine.

The U.S. market will only get the C 250 BlueEFFICIENCY and the C 350 BlueEFFICIENCY, while Malaysia is expected to get the former as the only C-Class Coupe variant, one tasked with stealing sales from the Audi A5 Coupe and the BMW 3-Series Coupe.
